I have a question for you all, and I hope you guys are not grossed out by this. What the heck do you use giblets for?

I cook them in the stuffing and in the soup. My mother used to cut them up into the gravy after they were cooked. I just eat the gizzard and heart after they have been cooked.

My mom used to boil them and add them to her stuffing. I boil them too, but then I give them to my dog.

My aunt used to use them in her stuffing, and it was honestly the best stuffing I've ever had!

I add the neck to the bones form making stock

That is how my mom always did it and the hearts were roasted up for kiddo treats.

Late Edit: The gravy was made from the drippings in the dripping pan from the smoker in our house.

I think I found the answer to my cookie decorating this Christmas! Every year all my mom wants are some homemade goodies and she loves sugar cookies. Every year I struggle with decorating them (I'm really bad).

Just saw an entry on one of the mini contests and ta da! There's my answer to decorating...ugly Christmas sweaters!

Ugly I can do just fine. Now I'm almost looking forward to doing mom's cookies
