Did a banana bread from 1961 Wisconsin lady's of Dakota county
Banana loaf
Bake at 350
1/2 c up shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 banana
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp sour milk
2 cup flour
I used 2/3 cup milk with vinegar then it looked like bread batter.

The woman I got the recipe from said she inverts it on a plate, then dusts it with powdered sugar over a paper lace doily. It looks like art.

I'm not that creative. I cut it into chunks like fudge, put it in Tupperware container, and set it on the table at work. It disappears. :)
When my Hens start laying more eggs, I will try this recipe!

I am a bit lazy today, have you posted this recipe before? If not, I will add it to the index.

This cake is guaranteed to add inches to your waist and take years off your life. :lau

Someone asked me what was in it. When I said, a dozen eggs and almost a pound each of butter and chocolate, she gave me this look:  Then she said, "Ok, I won't ask for the recipe."
