Any Home Bakers Here?

Something interesting happened with the storm glass.

It’s forming small stars inside clear liquid on a sunny winter day. When I looked this up, it means snow is coming.

Then, I saw this on the weather report.

The storm glass could be right.

For the past year I've been learning how to bake yeast breads here at home. It's been challenging and rewarding (when it all comes together right, lol).

Today for the 1st time I made up a Boule recipe and ran into a snag. Is there anyone here that's familiar with yeast breads? Since I'm here several times a day reading about chickens, it would be great to chat with others that also bake.

I love to bake, this is my favorite bread recipe...it's from a retired English Professional Chef and it's the best bread you ever ate!

First time baking this in a Dutch oven over coals, and first attempt at getting it out of the Dutch oven in one piece.

I can’t believe I got it out in one piece on my first attempt.

The liquid you see is a mixture of brown sugar and butter. The cake was fully cooked.
Yummy.
