I have a hen we hatched off a Cinnamon Queen X Dominique Rooster the chick has the “eyeliner slashes” like a cinnamon queen chick but it’s mostly white ? And has some black and reddish brown barring kinda I’m not sure what it’s called maybe splashing ? After the first molt will she be completely barred or keep the pattern she has ?
The Dominique roo does have some red feathers in his neck and some in the body feathers but very very few.
The lighting doesn’t do justice to show the brownish red on the feathers.

Also I have White Leghorn X Speckled Sussex Roo
The chicks are mainly white but one has color coming in on one side of it an the other doesn’t have but a lil color looking blackish gray. Will they be white or a dirty white ?
Thank you !

Do you have a picture of your Dominique rooster?
I do ! I’m not sure what the standards are for a Dominique but he has red flecks in his neck and he has green sheen tail feathers, I’ll show Ol Wilbur lol the hen next to him is my Cinnamon Queen Nugget the one I’m assuming is the mother because of the eyeliner marks.
All the rest of the chicks came out barred white and black like my barred rock hen and some come barred red and black but she’s the only white one I thought it was crazy. And I hope she stays this way she’s gorgeous!

Looks like your Dominique is a Dominique mix, and he was able to pass on pattern genes to his offspring. The chick is silver columbian, which is the silver version of the mother’s pattern.
