Hello:

My daughters 4 turkeys all have either watery or foam poo. I believe they need to be dewormed. Does anyone know how to deworm turkeys? They will be processed in July so it needs to be safe for human consumption.
Thanks!!

I've never wormed turkeys. However, it would be best to worm them orally using Valbazen liquid cattle, sheep, goat wormer. Dosage is 0.08ml per pound of weight. Worm them in the early morning when it's still dark and at least one hour prior to feeding them. Use a syringe without a needle to draw up the liquid wormer to administer it orally to each bird.
Repeat this procedure in 10-14 days, then you're done. Generally, there is a 14 day withdrawal period after the last dosing.
