The worst mouse encounter I had at the company house was when I pulled open the drawer under the range. There was a mouse mama sitting on a nest in one of my skillets. I slapped a lid on it and tossed the whole thing out the door!

Just couldn't see using that skillet ever again. :sick
Ewww...I would have done the same thing...yuck! Lol

That would have made a hilarious home video IM
:gig

My cats mostly chased them, but they didn't seem to catch many. I might have been kind of glad since they're my lap kitties. Ugh, mouse breath!
Tuna breath isn't much better! just saying.

I don’t blame you, that would have been my reaction too!

The ducklings are growing fast. I was telling my son that I feel like I’m neglecting them because I don’t spend as much time with them as I did with the first three. He said it’s like first baby, second baby Mom. The first time you do all these things and the second time you don’t have as much time so you do things differently. I suppose he’s right. They peep a lot when I let the big girls out, but it’s too soon yet to let them mingle I think. I may put the tub outside the pop door this afternoon and lock the big girls out of the yard though. I really need to work on calming the babies a bit when I’m in the duck house as well.
The big girls will go in at night provided it’s their idea to do so. I take their nightly treat to the duck house and act like I’m fiddling around with the feed and in they go. If it’s my idea though, they try to avoid going in as much as possible and freak out about being herded in. Punks.
