Did the gosling cry when it was first introduced to the older geese? Sometimes when a gosling is screaming it can trigger adults to go into defense mode. Geese can sometimes be pea brained and bite at what is making them feel panicked and defensive.

I think @sourland ‘s suggestion on the other thread is the best mode of action but if it doesn’t work you should send this one to a rehabbed that has other Canada goslings it can grow up with.
