Jersey Giant lovers

This thread is for people who love Jersey Giants. I would love to here whether you currently own any, what variety is your favorite, and why you like or dislike them. I would also love to see pictures of your peacefull Giants, and to here your story pf how you fell in love with them(or how you now hate them). This thread welcomes apposing oppinions, as long as they are not rude or offensive.

I personally love the blue variety, and i also love the black variety. I wonder how it would look in buff coloring...

*the chicken towards the back in the first image with a pea comb and looks white-ish is an easter egger, not one of the Jerseys.

I personally fell in love with the Jersey Giants by simply researching. They are beautiful and have a very good temperament. I liked that they grow large and are decent layers, so I decided to get some of my own. They are now about 25 weeks old and are just starting to lay.
They enjoy stalling behind eachother and jumping, which 'jump-scares' the other chicken. They were afraid of trees untill recently!

We asked TSC to pick out some chickens good with kids and they added two white Jersey Giants. They’re the best! Solid layers, friendly and docile, I’m just sad they’re so hard to find. We lost one randomly this spring and it was so upsetting. Here’s Fluffy!

We got our first Jersey Giants about a decade ago. They were hatchery birds but beautiful and so docile. Fast forward to now when we can have chickens again and Jersey Giants were top of the list (actually the only breed on the list). We have a small group of juveniles at the moment and want to raise them to the breed standard. We have black and white Giants. I can't decide which is my favorite.
