The pictures included are a couple close-ups, and then a bit farther away (for size perspective). The chicks are a few days over four weeks old, and to the best of my understanding, they have not been exposed to anything that has been outside or used by other animals. I think everything they are in/use is new. This little flock belongs to my sister, so I don’t know all the information, but that is my impression. This is her first flock. Today, when she moved them out of their regular brooding area temporarily and onto some paper towels, she noticed what looked like blood in one or two stools. My first thought was Cocci, but honestly I feel like because of how many times I have treated for that, I just see it everywhere. Maybe it is just the lining? I admit I am not the most experienced in spotting that, but she thinks looking at the poop charts, it may be that. Any insight will be appreciated! Thank you.
