So neither my husband or myself are in great health. I will have to do this myself (54 yr old chubby girl ) so here is my plan. My coop is a converted play house and has no eaves or overhang. I have a ridge vent, a large window in the man door and 2 small windows in the front. The front door is open all day long so right now during the day there is plenty. The front door is starting to rot so we are thinking of taking off that door, boarding it up and putting in a pop door. I am NOT handy or healthy enough to try to cut large holes in the walls not to mention there is not much wall space to do that with the roost on east wall, the large rollout nest boxes on the west wall and doors on north and south wall. So, I got these and plan to put some over each door and then several up high all along the east and west walls above the roosts and nest boxes. How well do you think this will work? They canāt be closed but are slanted to supposedly keep out the rain. Also, I canāt find any info on how much actual ventilation the roof ridge provides. I also have a āJob siteā fan rated for dust however with the hemp I have very little dust. Yellow dots on the pics is where I want to add the circles. Thoughts?
