Time will tell both I suppose! But curious about your opinions…..

We are brand new to chickens, we’ve had our chicks for 4 days ☺️ We purchased them from Family, Farm and Home. This little one is supposed to be a Sapphire Gem pullet, what do you think? It doesn’t look as dark grey as most I see posted, and it isn’t getting tail feathers yet (the rest that we got at the same time are all getting tail feather, but are all different breeds). We believe they are all around a week old, at the most between 1-2 weeks old.

Sapphire Gems are sex linked, but it might be difficult to see the spot on the head when it’s so light. Males are barred, but I gave myself so much anxiety thinking they were barred. It was more a bit of transitional lacing and they’re all still 100% pullets

I also have what we guess is a Sapphire Splash and it’s much lighter than this. I was hoping it was a Lavender Orpington, but the beak was orange (Orpingtons are horn) and legs too orange
