Hi, you could check out some online hatcheries to see what they are getting for Sebastopol geese...that could give you some place to start with pricing and then adjust depending on what your area is willing to pay. Metzer and Murray McMurray both sell Sebastopols (there are probably others too).

I think it depends on where you live.
I bought 3 Pilgrim goslings for 25$ each a few years ago, I think I got a good deal . If I was selling them now I'd ask for more.

That's kinda what I'm seeing. Everything has gone up. Metzer has unsexed for 135 and females for 235. I paid 75 each for very good quality stock 2 years ago. I would be happy getting anything in between. I just can't ask 200 for a girl. I know they are rare and only hatch a few once a year, but it's not a job for me. I just enjoy them.

I looked at Metzer. I just don't need that much for them. I have good birds, but this is a hobby for me. I would sell them for much less to someone here that needs them. They want 135 for straight run and 235 for girls. I'd be happy to get 75 and 100 I guess.

I suggested the online hatcheries just as a place to start. Of course, you have to do what you feel comfortable with and what your market will bear.

Hello everyone. We got 4 Sebastopols 2 years ago, 3 girls and 1 gander from a top quality breeder with a very impressive set up. We are so proud. We did not have any success last year as our incubator had a mishap. We successfully hatched 14 in the incubator this year and we have a pair of girls sitting on their own nest under the bush next to our front door right now. These guys are so cool! So, how do I get these goslings to people that need them and what is a fair price I should charge for them? Thank you!
