The Warriors Series.. by Erin Hunter.
This book is what got me into reading kids fiction books.
That has been about 5 years ago now, maybe longer.
I work in the library and discovered that we owned book 2
in this series and not book one. I ordered it from another
library to read it to see if it was a series that we should invest in.
I couldn't hardly put it down.
I started reading it to my daughter, who was about 7
at the time. She loved it too. They suggest ages 10 - up,
but it depends on each child.

"Fire alone can save our Clan..."
For generations, four Clans of wild cats have shared the
forest according to the laws laid down by the powerful
ancestors. But the warrior code is threatened, and the
ThunderClan cats are in grave danger. The sinister
ShadowClan grows stronger every day. Noble warriors are
dying -- and some deaths are more mysterious than others.
In the midst of this turmoil appears an ordinary housecat
named Rusty . . . Who may yet turn out to be the bravest
warrior of them all.

It seems to me that we named him after the cat in these books)
I have read them all, even the Manga books.
Now I am awaiting the next book due out in September!

I love those books! They only have the first one...grr... But they're great though! Really awesome. I look at my cat now and wonder if before I found her if she was a member of a clan... (She was a stray we found)
