Ours is often damp. We could dry it out by running a dehumidifier for about 5+ months a year, but that gets pricey. I run it at times in the most humid parts of the summer.
This is the year we're going to get all the junk/crap out of the basement and make it useable space. (It could happen...)...
My last year's garlic (hardneck, Music variety) is gone, so I am eager for this year's harvest.
I have been planting cloves from my own harvest now for several years... maybe 6? 8? all of the Music variety. Last fall, I ordered a pound of another, German White. Judging by the taste of the (raw)...

Hook up the hose and run it down to the garden
Go to TSC for dog food, etc., and Starbard Farms for chicken food
Hopefully that all gets done; my lists sometimes get truncated or amended.
Hot tomorrow, and then a few days after, back to 70. :yesss: I'll bake another loaf of bread then.

This is Middle, one of my black Australorps. Middle makes a cute noise when I sing the Chickie Snack song. She says, "OHHHHHH!" with a lyrical rising and falling inflection. She's the only one who does it.
