Snafu

I missed it when someone decided to lay a couple eggs in a nest after one of my Muscovies had already been sitting for awhile. When the nest was abandoned by mama and her new ducklings, I candled the remaining "dud" eggs and found a couple that were still about a couple weeks out from hatching. Snafu was hatched in an incubator, with some help in the end. The other egg didn't make it as I didn't get around to helping in time - there were some wonky things going on with the incubator because things were set up in a hurry and I hadn't been prepared for incubating eggs. I successfully smuggled Snafu in with her older siblings one night, but by then she'd already earned her name.
