Hi, we have only had chickens a couple months now. I see how easy it is to become addicted to them. They are much cuddlier then I thought lol. Anyways We got some new chicks a couple weeks ago from tractor supply and they said they were Brahma chicks which I have been wanting but I thought they were suppose to have feathers on their legs like our silkies do? Here’s a picture of them. Anyone know if they are brahmas or something else?

These all look like males. Not Brahmas.🙁
You added some more photos. The one brownish chick looks female (the one with eyeliner).
Hold old are they?

Oh great! I’m never trusting that lady again. She was confident she gave me 1 male. I have two silkie roosters and only wanted 1 Brahma rooster and all hens from there on out. I wanna say maybe 4 weeks? They have the color pattern of my barred rock chicken.

Sorry to say this happens all the time at TSC. How many birds are there total? Hard to tell in the photos. All the barred ones I can see are male. Their combs are already quite big and red. 🙁
There is four. Sorry it’s just different pictures to try and get better angles. All of our chickens are from tractor supply except our silkies which I purchased from someone. I have two hens and two rooster of them. One rooster is very dominate he’s the bigger one and the other roaster just does his own thing. He’s tiny. All my other chickens are just a mixture. I started with four easter eggers. One died so I have three left of that breed. I only wanted rooster silkies and then a Brahma rooster. All the rest hens. I guess if I want a specific breed then I need to just purchase how I did from an individual.

Crested cream legbars. All male except one. But the female will lay blue eggs!
Are you really good at different types of chickens? Lol I have two I’m not sure what they are and maybe you can tell me. Out of my chickens they are the two that are so hard to catch and hate us 😂. The black one and the light brown/tan one.

That’s a barred rock (black/white) and a Red Sexlink (tan). The all black one looks like a Black Australorp.
