chiggers/mites in new coop

so, my new coop is just about done and it's time to move the chickens in. I painted the inside of the coop white ... which makes it easy to see there are quite a bit of red chiggers/mites already crawling around inside the empty coop. The coop is on the smaller side, and up off the ground 30". The run will be beside the coop, so the chickens will not have access to underneath it.

Is there something I should spray under the coop ahead of the girls moving in? Any advice?

How many girls and how big is your coop and run?

The coop is roughly 3x5. It will have 4, and soon to be 3 girls. So far, it has zero. The run will be apx 8x7.
