I'm hoping you're right as I only have 3 chicks ( first time chicken owner) and so far 2 confirmed males, the one in this thread and a slightly younger Bresse chick I hatched ( He is adorable! ) lol To top that, the one that might be a pullet is an absolute bully towards the other 2 I hope to rehome a few ex battery hens after I add bigger run & another coop. Here's a few more photos ...she's on the left in the last one.

Possibly a cockerel, but I’d lean pullet just because her comb is smaller and less red than the confirmed cock.

Yes, it's hard to tell. The tail is long, but I've no experience so wasn't sure that was even an indicator. Thank you

Some updated on my birds .. they are 10 weeks old today...so the one that you helped me to def identify as a cockeral, crowed this week. So cute! He is such a lovely, gentle guy so far. The other that there was some doubt over, I'm still not sure about ..If it wasn't for the tail, I'd think female because the 2 birds are same age but combs & wattles are so different in size & colour .. but their long tail feathets are the same black, some white & a gorgeous blue/green when the sun hits them. Both male?
