Is this egg dead?

assuming so, the dark spot on the top of the egg is all there is - day 10. I can't see any movement & the other egg that's developing is a lot more filled in than this one - I can't see veins or anything either since they're dark eggs

I have two unhatched eggs in my incubator. I believe they are dead, but would appreciate a more experienced opinion.

I would suggest starting your own thread in the incubation/ hatching section, rather than jumping into a thread from a few months ago...

When you do, please also let us know if the eggs are under a broody/ in an incubator, how far along they are, what type of eggs they are- at the least.
I have some thoughts, but done want to get too far into it on this thread. Feel free to tag me back in if you re post!

Sorry, thought it would be less cluttery to add to a generic type of thread that's only three weeks old than create yet another.
