Lavender Easter Egger- 4 weeks old, pullet or cockerel?

Hi ya’ll!! there’s not too much out there on Lavender EE’s! I was sold this baby as a sexed female from a reputable hatchery, and am not sure if I should be worried at this comb…she’s just a hair over 4 weeks old. What do you think? Noodle <3 I’d be heartbroken to have to part with her as roosters are illegal in my neighborhood ☹ thank you so so much!!! Amazing group

I am 95% sure that your EE is a cockerel. That is very very early to have that huge and pink of a comb for a pullet.

thank you so much!!! great thread!! Yes lavenders are tough, truly! and so are EE’s, so I am holding onto hope for Noodle! I will wait a few more weeks and post an update, she/he is stunning though, I will say that!! thank you!!!

Update on Bagels (Barred Rock) and Noodle (Lavender EE) at 7.5 weeks…what does everyone think?? Any chance one of my sweet angels is a pullet?
