I totally forgot about this thread, I'll have to do some updates!
Don't be scared off by birds that require paperwork, as long as you have the proper enclosures they do well. All you need is the little slip from the breeder, and just keep that as long as you have them. If you want to breed and sell offspring that requires you to actually apply for and purchase a permit, and is more involved. But if you just want them for fun that's not needed.

Okay. It won't be for a few years anyways at least, but I still like looking. Those and Canadian geese both are on that 'future wish list'
