Well bummer. I was so hoping since it was a teaching school.

the vet school said they give no discounts, and that I might as well go to a vet closer to home. i was able to scrape up enough for an exam with my local so we are going tomorrow afternoon. I kind of feel like I’m just going to find out that there’s expensive surgery available that I can’t afford at this moment, but perhaps God will make a way. so off we go. pic of Frankie and friends from today. You might be better just having a handicapped duck. Ducks really don't do well with anesthesia. A number of them die.

yes I am fine with the handicap as long as there isnt suffering and pain with it. I want the vet to give me a pro opinion re quality of life.

Hey friends -

at what age is it OK for ducklings to try eating whole corn kernels?

They have been eating grains for a while but not corn and not raw; they got cooked rice, barley, millet...

Asking of course for our month old ones, not the ones that have only recently been hatched this past weekend.
