Our Lucy looks to have vent gleet, with white discharge. She is laying eggs randomly and they have strange spots on them. Please advise.

Update. We have isolated her in the garage. We brought her in and washed her vent area. We didn't notice any redness or irritation. We soaked her in warm epsom salts water for about 5-10 minutes. Took her out and dried her as gently as possible. Treated the vent area with an anti-fungal cream monistat. Her vent seems to be poked out like there was an egg in there. Does this sound like a typical treatment for vent sleet? Thanks!

Can you get a picture of her vent? Could she have a prolapse? Why do you think she has vent gleet? The egg in the picture is abnormal. It looks to have a soft section in the center. This link has a lot of examples of abnormal eggs:

Calcium or Tums can be given orally to help if a chicken is egg bound or prolapsed.
