A little something I did not mention about my Inverness adventure was my acquisition of two birds. Each bird was $10.00 which I gladly handed over to Ron K. for a little black OEGB and Jimmy Swanson for a Columbian Rock.

The girls are all settled in now and getting along just fine.
Here is Itty Bitty.

I am new to the whole chicken show thing in fact Inverness was the first show I attended. I have given it some thought but only a little. I think my Buff Cochin is a pretty good representaion of her breed.

She is an old lady she was hatched in 2004. I bought her form a really nice fellow out of Plant City, Florida who was showing OEGB at the inverness show.

She acts like a wise old lady and is not easily grabbed but once in hand she is very docile and doe not protest being carted around.
Pot Pie is the sweetest of the three and will come over and sit in your lap all by herself!
