Great article. Easy to read and follow along with. Pictures were great and there were enough of them so you weren’t left wondering.

P.S. Love the idea. I plan on making one or two of my own, but with slightly different dimensions.

Fantastic read. I felt like I was reading a college essay, which is not a bad thing. There was a lot of information, but not an overload. It had great structure and flow. It was clearly, thoroughly researched. The end came a little abruptly, but acted as a teaser, making you want to explore the links provided and learn more.

Chicken intelligence has always fascinated me. The communication throughout the flock and even the communication with myself and the other giant featherless birds that bring food to them is actually very complex. I love that we are figuring out that “bird brained” isn’t the insult we thought it was. Great article.

Pictures would be the cherry on top of this already delicious sundae. It gives a great foundational level of information and makes for a perfect starting point for exploring the art of sexing chickens.

Great article. Very in depth and pictures are great. I currently use this method minus the DE. I don’t use a kick board and add about 10cf of pine shavings every month or two. Can’t believe how much a coop with 38 chickens in it DOESNT smell.
