This is an interesting design. I like the watering system but I want to know more about where/how the jars are filled. Do you have to pick them up or can you fill them and then roll the tractor to a remote spot? Also like the trellis roof. Would be good to see some details of the wheels and how they mount/ work.

Thanks for the review and comments. This experiment turned into an ongoing project. I have been growing fodder inside my house for about 2 months now, providing my chickens fresh green fodder grass to eat while the snow banks are almost 4 feet high outside. I think they enjoy the fresh greens, and since it takes me less than 5 minutes per day, it's one of the easiest things I do for my chickens in the winter.
Good job writing this so we can understand the building process. Nice to have to costs also and the added pictures make it very clear. I imagine by now that you've given the hens a bit more room.
