Blood on a Chicken Eggshell

Great article, when my girls first started laying I did see some eggs that I thought could be a bit of blood. Not much just a tiny bit. Now I know why that happened thank you it was a mystery that is now solved.

Haven't seen that yet but I'm glad for the info in case I do.

Very well-written and informative article! I've already seen blood on eggs twice this spring as my older hens resume laying again. I wasn't concerned since it rarely happens, but this article was nice confirmation that there is no reason to worry.
