A nice, cheap, easy to make DIY feeder. The only downside I can see is that it likely won't stand up long to chicks and their scratching and poop - but they're free and easy, so you can always make another one!
Clever. Great that you included your paper plans. I'd like to know how it held up in actual use, especially if the duct tape held in up to moisture and dust during the brooding period.
