Thanks. You either have a grand sense of humour out here, or they find you rocking and mumbling to yourself under a mulberry bush in the Spring. We've had non-stop 40 PLUS mph winds for the past 36 hours and the snow is flying and will continue like that until late tonight. All the birds are out there happy as clams in the deep sea. Their coop is draft free, but exchanging air, and while outside is 29 degrees with a windchill of 14, their house and run are a solid and comfortable 38. They're currently listening to 80s rock on their radio and having feed, scratch, and warm oatmeal for breakfast. Lucky fluffies.
Aside from being a great coop/run/build in progress, I thought it was hilarious. I snorted more than a few times reading it. You did such a wonderful job on everything! Thank you for sharing your trials and tribulations, successes and humor.
Thank you. They've been stuck inside for weeks, except for a couple escapes, my fault, during feeding time. They have enough room that they aren't going nuts on each other :D
The title should say it all but let's add more <G>. You are a marvelous writer. Your honesty about process, trial and error, personal issues/challenges, and how the WEATHER impacts everything make this article a great read.
Beyond that, the coop is so well designed and you provide just enough information about what why and how.
Are you available for a trip West to rebuild for me? HAH, didn't think so!!! great job and I love the new color.
I still need to build a green house, a bridge over a water problem area, halter train 6 alpacas, remodel a bathroom, and a basement. Exhausted just thinking about it. Currently feels like -10 out. I'm getting nothing done currently.
