I need to know from anyone. How do you catch a very wary chicken. I moved them to a new kennel but some won't go in the coop. I catch some every night when they "go to bed" but the ones left are too scared and run too quickly. I even put vodka in the water to no avail!!
Would they follow the rooster? I caught him a week or so ago and have penned 6 up in that time. How long must I wait.? I did this for 4 days before without him, and still some won't go back in again. I'm not letting those out again.
How do you catch a chicken?!! I'm afraid they will freeze in below freezing weather., They won't even take shelter under t he portable coop.
