I'm so sorry about your rooster! I lost the rooster in my profile pic several months ago, and it was very sad. I think that it is possible for a chicken to have a heart attack, but if you want to be more sure, check out the Emergencies/Diseases/Injuries and Cures forum. I'm sure the folks there will be more knowledgeable than I am in the possibilities for his death. What other types of chickens do you have?
