Today is going to be so nice to be outside it's 59°F with a high of 72°F and sunny. JT

We drive up Hwy D from Farmington then turn East on Hwy Y to get to the Terrace. We like driving on the back roads of Missouri. JT

Pretty heavy rain here at the moment and it looks worse to the north of us. JT

Yup, and I'll wave at you when we go to the Terrace... French Village seems pretty small but I might be missing some of when we visit the Terrace. JT

My 6 3/4 year old Rhode Island Red hen Tu Tu laid an egg today... not a big one at 51 grams. JT

And I forgot the 3 Cinnamon Queen hens are 4 years old today. We need to have a birthday celebration for sure. JT

Sweet Pea one of the two remaining Rhode Island Red hens died last night. She was born on 8/16/17 so 4 months short of 7 years. She would snuggle her head under my arm the first winter to keep warm. She is the one that got frost bite on her comb a few years ago. So now I have 4 hens and 3-6...

You folks to the south west you getting any heavy rain? We got an inch this morning but it moved out and we are under a flash flood watch but we live above the high water mark so plenty safe from that. JT

We are down to 5 hens now, Victoria died today with no symptoms at all. So we have 3 Cinnamon Queens who are 4 years old and 2 Rhode Island Reds who are almost 7 years old. JT

Does it have a metal roof? JT

We got 1 1/2" of rain last night... and more rain on the way. I hope I can get a short break from rain long enough to change a contactor on a cardboard baler which is out in the open. JT
