Been a while being since commenting here. The flock of eight is still great. We have waited weeks for this last egg producing break due to molting and winter in general. This last storm was super windy and a tornado scare but thankfully no touchdowns.

I had great success with all the chicks I got from https://littlebirdiehatchery.com/ I live in central NC and it was a convenient drive to get the babies and bring em home. We were gonna get chicks shipped from another state but I am so happy we went this way instead. Happy Spring chicken peeps. My flock of eight is great. One year old this week. No loss no medical issues.

GRASS BOX QUESTION: So I noticed people make grass boxes for their chickens. Have you done this? Is it dumb to have a concern about the chickens feet having issues walking on the hardware cloth wire? Any comments welcome. I want to do it but I want to know of any cons people have experienced. Thank you.

Hi guys! Not trying to sell anything I just like to show what I use when I really like something. I was given this cloth as a xmas gift and I loooove it. It works so great gently cleaning my eggs. It has a rough side and a softer side.
