    White Leghorn?

    The pics appear to show a hen with white ears? If what I have learned so far (which isn't a lot I admit), shouldn't she lay white eggs? Are you sure she is the one laying the brown eggs?

    White Sussex Breeders in the US?

    It was my understanding that the white sussex was the hen used by some American breeders to get the red sexlink, is that not correct? I am pretty sure it is the hen used for the "cinnamon queens". Happy New Year!

    Can you feed dog food to chickens?

    My Ladies LOVE some dog food soaked and floating in water like soup (very special, add little milk too). High in protein and calcium, I don't have any scientific data but they're laying great and they get it several times a week along with table scraps and plenty of scratch. My big beautiful...
