Update: I took the roo to the vet.
The vet had looked over bird and picked off scabs; he thought that they were superficial fighting wounds, but could not rule out fowl pox. We decided to euthanize, which vet said would keep from spreading to other rooster.Hated to do it, but we have had no peace; no place to separate and if symptoms worsened, not sure I would have time to go back to vet.
