I have had these bands on my birds for less than 3 months and the numbers have rubbed off! I now have a bunch of birds with pretty bracelets but can't identify them! The bands are sturdy and won't come off unless cut, so they are durable. They are also fairly inexpensive and you don't have to fuss around with sizing the birds' leg.
If the numbering process could be more durable, I would likely buy again.

It's a bit unfair of me to write a review on my 1 BR since she's disabled. However, despite being very poorly sighted, she lays well and is very personable. I hand feed her treats since she gets pushed to the side, but she is able to eat/drink normally like the other girls. I will likely get more in the future since they are robust ladies!

I have 2 Barnvelder hens. They couldn't be more unlike each other! One is very personable, has moved her way up the pecking order quickly. She's friendly and very talkative, curious too. The other is very reticent, shy & quiet. She will allow me to touch her, but briefly only. Their plumage is stunning in the sunlight. The beetle green sheen is absolutely gorgeous! They have both been laying on a regular basis, beautiful brown eggs. I will be getting more next year.

The Delaware girls are consistently good layers and are definitely the top of the pecking order in my flock. They are pushy with the other hens and very noisy at times. It has taken them 2 years to allow me to pet them, although Desdemona will still not allow me to touch her. They are very inquisitive and smart. I probably will not get this breed again although the egg output is very good.

My Welsummers are very good layers of beautifully speckled eggs. They have a gorgeous pattern to their feathers. My 2 girls - Ms. Crabby & Houdini are not the friendliest of the flock though. Ms. Crabby earned her name by being bossy and somewhat aggressive to her flock sisters initially. She is now 2 years old and has mellowed to the point where she will now allow me to touch her. Houdini was of a similar disposition, but not as pronounced. I would have Welsummers again simply because of the consistently high egg output. If I want friendly, cuddly chickens, these would not be it.

I only have 1 Dominque currently. However, she is my favorite. She will tolerate being carried around, sit on my knee and generally put up with stupid human stuff! She is very quiet and docile with the other birds, although she doesn't let the dogs get too close - she will peck them right on the nose! Consistent daily layer although egg size could be said to be on the small side. When I add to the flock next year, I will certainly be adding more Doms & RIRs'.

I really don'y have anything bad to say about my girls. Currently I only have 2 RIRs' - Buggy & Red Sonya. They are both very friendly, personable girls. Buggy loves to help me gardening, she's a demon for bugs & worms. Red Sonya is very curious about everything and loves to be scratched under her wings!! They fit in well with all the other girls. I plan to get more peeps next year and certainly RIRs' will be among them.
Added 6 more pullets this year. Fabulous layers, nice personalities - very outgoing, pushy at times and very curious about everything!
