Sunrise Chicks Chicken Coop
I got the basic plans for my coop from http://msucares.com/pubs/plans/6248.pdf .
These plans gave me a general starting point. This was the first time I had built any structure. My father was a carpenter, so I guess as my mother says "You have sawdust in your veins."...
This morning when I went out to feed my geese, I noticed one that cannot stand up. It was running around with all the others last night. I picked her up and looked at her legs and can't find anything noticeable. She tried to flap her wings and get away so it appears to be a leg issue. I'm new to...

Good idea. Also, try mixing some chick feed with a little water and make a paste, then try hand feeding her. This is better than the karo syrup and much healthier. I have used this before with sick chicks and they seem to like it. I'm sorry I have no suggestions for the foot

It probably depends on the size of your pullet eggs, but when I make cakes with my pullet eggs I do about 1.5 pullet eggs for 1 large egg. I made a pound cake the other day that called for 6 large eggs so I used 9 pullet eggs and it was great!
I am interested in getting an Anatolian Shepherd to guard my chickens. Please let me know if you are a breeder and can give me more information. Thanks.
