    What would be a good type to try? I have tried so many brands! I will try making mash with it, which might help.     Yes, she eats all of that twice a day, plus has scratch, seed and dried mealworms available all the time. Sometimes I add rice or plain chopped spaghetti to it. She eats bugs daily and I buy live mealworms sometimes. She lays an egg every day though. The vet said to give her whatever she wants...

    Thank you! I trimmed her crest after she finished molting, so she can see now. She flys up on the shelf when I'm sitting out there, so she is eye to eye with me, and sits there and chats.
