I am lucky that I live far enough from civilization that having a rooster isn't forbidden. I used to love when I had multiple flocks and multiple roosters singing the songs of their people.
I'm someone who actually enjoys the sound of a rooster crowing. I had to re-home my larger flock with two roosters because of an upcoming move. I miss hearing them. He is difficult to get pictures of, but here's from in October with one of the hens in the background.
My intention is not to breed. I doubt he could with his curled toes. Not everyone rehomes animals who others find imperfect.
