    If no scabs are forming it might be a good (I'm not sure) idea to leave the area clean...with nothing on it so it can dry up:confused:

    I have no idea it it will regrow in that area...it was nasty for a long time...maybe it did permanent damage? We will have to wait and see. Hopefully it does grow back. I'm glad she is eating well again.
