This is my daughter-in-law, with "Regan-trop-fen" it means raindrop in German. (Regantropfen decided to sleep outside one night, and a hawk got her at sun up.)
My latest Spitzenhauben, I did call her "Golt" (Gold in German) to begin with, but then renamed her "Satelliten" (Satellite in German)...
My hen "Satellite" laid her first egg today. As far as I know anyway. She seemed comfortable and like she knew what she was doing as she sat it the nest box.
This is Kato, she used to like to attack me.
I got her from a feed store- straight run, I chose her because she had a dark head. And I was hoping the darker the head more female.
Regan Thropfen. German for raindrop.
The crest should tilt more forward, and certain angles it does. She is a sweetheart. If it was up to her, I would carry her all day.
This is Fraulein she was nice and and sweet...
Below is Kato she always tries to beat me up.
I hatched 2 more that are babies, I don't know them yet though...
This is Fraulein. See how gentle she looks?
Below is Kato. She likes to attack me, so I named her after the butler from the Pink Panther movie, that would attack Inspector Cluso.
I also set some SS and GS eggs. From a diff farm.
I was at the N40 yesterday they had spitz chicks but they all...
"Fraulein Pullet," very sweet. From Meyers.
I hear the hats should tilt forward.
"Kato" hen. She was more aggressive, but calmed down. She always leaves me a little "extra" gift on her egg. I think on purpose. She was from a feed store.
