    Buff brahmas and barred rocks and I can't remember what else. It may have been rhode island reds but I'm not sure. ETA: these are some of the most active chicks I've had they are chasing each other all over the brooder.

    No the only place I could find that had EEs was Lafayette feed and grain on highway 7. Supposedly welp is having problems with their ees this year and Jax is not expecting any in at all! I don't know who Murdochs orders from but Lafayette orders from Ideal.

    You could try the good old food coloring trick. You put a few drops of food coloring on/in your chickens vents. Use different colors for each chicken. It should leave traces on the eggs when laid and wallah match the egg streaks to the hen with that color food coloring

    I got my first egg yesterday! And today look what I got!!! One of the girls was good and laid her egg in the nestbox but the other one was in the corner on the floor. I am soo eggcited! Also for all of you who know you want my rooster here is a better pic.

    I have a young blue orpington rooster available. He was hatched from bamachicken line eggs that I got from taterchickens. He is still maturing and growing his "man feathers" I will sell him for $15 and the price is negotiable to a good home. I would prefer him to go to someone from on here...
