I watched this
yt short about how this is done today, it was very different from how I imagined. I thought you just painted the outline on and then painted the glass with a special paint. It looks way more involved and difficult to me now that I know how it's done.
Rough sketch for now, I've only spent about an hour on this so far. My sister is having surgery in less than a month and I'm drawing her character coming to visit her in the hospital. Idk if it'll turn out the way I want but at least it's started.
:3 i think the most I had was 98 before the program crashed on me. I generally try to keep it under 12 now if I can. I just merge as I go. Idky i liked so many before, i think i was scared of messing up parts that I liked.
Cacti are harder to paint then they look. I tried to paint one ages ago. It took days and i wasn't happy with the final result. I love the red "flowers".
Aside from hands practically never. I probably should, but i feel like youtubers make dramatic enough facial expressions that i could pause a video and get a better picture than me trying in the mirror.
I suppose today isnt the right day for you to tell me how they came into being. :3 What I mean is.... If I wanted to draw one of your critters secretly sometime, maybe, would I give it wattles and feathers, or is that fur, or water, or some other thing?
I've been missing my nearly weekly art to look at. :P So I made something awful that you all get to suffer and see too. It's just an hour worth of scribbling. I was mostly trying to figure out how to connect bird legs to a human.
Finally finished. The original was day 10 for inktober, which I did practically nothing for because I had very little time. This took me 2 full weeks to get it to where I'm calling it done. ((( I did use a picture from google that I scribbled over in the background though it's not an exact match)))
