Oh my gosh!! Well hello there! I am so glad that bear hasn't returned! That is their 'story' I told my little nephew and neice and they were amazed lol. How wonderful to see you! Yes they have a wonderful home and I have a thread with updated pictures of the splash wyandotte (one was given to a friend) and she has really turned out and their personalities are wonderful

I may part with a blue Wyandotte if you decide you like them. I'm about an hour form you. I have breeder quality Wyandotte.

i would have totally taken you up on that offer if i had gotten it a few days ago LOL

but i did buy a girlie from a byc member today.Shes pretty wild and totally scared of me, but i picked her up when i got home and stood in the sun with her for about ten minutes stroking her head and she actually fell asleep!

She is supposed to be either a blue orp x delaware or a blue orp x ameraucana. im thinking the latter because of her pea comb and her long tail.

she is about 20 weeks old. do you guys think her face will redden a bit? shes got such a huge honker and no comb, lol. little wattles comming in and no muffs. shes so wild looking, its really neat. and i just love her feathers

do you think they might fluff out more or do you think this is how shes gonna stay? i think at 20 weeks my girls pretty much looked like they do now. but i cant remember.

thanks alot everyone for helping me in my blue adventure!!!!!!!! you guys are the best and your birds are so gorgeous <3

I know you already got your 'blue' bird fix, but I figured, no harm in showing off more blue birds.

Smokey, blue cochin bantam. He has wet feathers on his feet on most days, but it really doesn't faze him at all. We live in WA state, where it rains 9 months of the year, and he's as happy as can be when he free ranges.

i think they would eat a silkie alive now. frizzle cochins are my favorites, but yeah...the bantam thing.
