ToMAYto ToMAHto grow-along

Another big day for the tomatoes! I'm pretty sure I heard the first tentative attempts at a crow this morning!View attachment 4079010
THEY'RE GETTING SO BIG! I'm 95% sure we've got three boys and four girls. As I was doing these photos I realized that her feathers are the same color as the gazebo and woodpile! That's why I like her colors so much! They remind me of home!View attachment 4079035View attachment 4079045Rose continues to be the pulletiest chick of the lot.View attachment 4079052View attachment 4079054 And today Cherry was the scarediest pullet.View attachment 4079059View attachment 4079060View attachment 4079064So far Sungold seems to be the slowest maturing cockerel. He's gotta be part brahma.View attachment 4079069View attachment 4079080Cherokee is such a cutie pie! I bet she'll be so pretty when she's grown. Apollo is gorgeous! Maybe you can find Anne a new home if he’s pretty

coop repairs out at the farm are in full swing. Husband is scrambling a little because I came in from chicken chores this morning and told him we had crowing. I stood on the far side of the garage and peeked to see who it was. Bumble Bee, first to hatch, now first to crow!

I'm not sure yet if we'll move them out there tomorrow before we leave for Ohio or Sunday after we get back. Right now he's not too loud, if my mom doesn't open the garage door on that side of the garage while we're gone I doubt the neighbors will take much notice. He's certainly quieter than Lady Amalthea's egg song!
