    I found a chart online that shows what colors you get from breeding a paint silkie to a chocolate silkie however I am wondering if this chart is accurate if the hen is a black that came from a paint pen. If I cross my black silkie hen to my chocolate rooster will I get paints or inly black roos...

    Chocolate Silkie trio hatching different colored chicks?

    My friend gave me some eggs to hatch from his chocolate silkie trio since he didn't have any incubator space. According to any chart I've seen online the chicks should all be chocolate but the 2 that have hatched so far look black/blue. Any insight? I've included a picture of the trio
