    When will my chicks start piping?

    I am on day 18 and i am worried because my incubator was shut off last night for a short ammount of time I am asking advice if there is anything i can do to help hatch rate and also when will my chicks start pipping.Hopefully they will hatch.:fl

    Hen still turning eggs on day 20? Is this ok for the chicks?

    My chicks are sceduled to hatch tomorrow! One is already pipping. The problem is the broody is still turning them and moving them around underneath her. Is this ok for the chicks? I know in an incubator you stop turning them on day 18 so does the same apply with a hen?

    Need help with hatching

    This egg pipped 24 hours ago with no further progress. I'm getting worried. Do I help? It hasn't made much noise at all, and never even heard an internal peep. I can see its beak, what should I do?

    My chick is due today ( day 21) I can hear it chirp, but no pipping

    So I can here my chick chirping in its shell, I don’t see any cracks or anything. Should I just let it be? Should I try and help it? Any advice is much appreciated.

    Chick hatched on day 20... others pipped... others, nothing

    Do you take chicks out after hatch?

    So I am about to go into lock down with the chicks. My question is; do you remove the chicks from the incubator after they hatch? Do you remove the broken egg shells? Basically what do you do after the first chick emerges? I have 12 in right now, looking great!!! Thanks for your imput!

    Pipping but no zipping after 30+ hours.

    I have 4 chicken eggs out of 8 that pipped well over a day ago. Two have been cheeping loudly since yesterday. There has been no progress and no zipping.     Pipped egg over 24 hours not hatching

    I'm currently incubating 12 eggs, I have had 4 eggs hatch so far, the rest of them I think are infertile. There is one egg though that pipped on day 21 and still has not hatched it's almost day 23 so it has almost been 48 hours since it pipped. I know things can go wrong even after they pipped...
