    Is this safe?

We ordered this for our ducks as a swimming pool, only to just now read about Zinc Poisoning and Hardware Disease. Is this safe for them to swim in and drink out of or not?

They don’t like their pond anymore

My pair of Swedish ducks no longer swim in their little pond. They haven’t gone in since October! It’s bathtub sized, so not big, and I just can’t figure it out lol! Now I realize it’s winter and there is usually ice in the morning, but the days have been in the 40s and 50s. They still love...

When can I allow my ducklings to swim?

Hi! I am a new duck mother and I just recently purchased Pekins at Tractor Supply. I have seen videos of individuals introducing their ducklings into the water at a very young age. If I fill it full of warm water is it okay for them to take a swim? Please let me know!

I have two pekin ducks and when they were swimming i noticed that their feathers were soaking up more water. same with my buff goose. they haven't gone swimming for a while now. if that has anything to do with it. they were also getting out of the water and drying of getting back in repeatedly.

    Ducklings scared of kiddy pool

I have (2) 6wk old pekins and (2) 4wk old cayugas and they are all terrified of their new kiddy pool. They loved swimming inside in the sink and bathtub when they were younger (and smaller) but now want nothing to do with swimming. They are obviously hot (panting in the shade) but won't swim. Help?
