«{~:-HOUSE OF WOLVES-:~}» A Dog Role Play

(haha guess who's actually taking an effort for once,
spoiler alert it's me)

Lupus
Spire trotted out of his den and squinted as the mid-morning sun danced in the trees. He glanced over to where the guardians and novitiates where preparing to deploy to the Tide Pools. Arching his back and stretching his paws out forward he let out a massive, toothy yawn. "Hestia", Spire barked, "you and your patrol are clear to go to the Tide Pools, good luck." Walking through camp he came to face Xaiver, "I've heard you're quite the troublemaker around camp. You'll be joining today's hunting trip."
(haha yessss)
“Isn’t it great that we got a deer? Reminds me of the ol’ days when I spent all day moving the cattle. How do you feel about switching up roles for once and hunting?” Flori asked, baleful brown eyes

Lamar hid his private misgivings about not being able to punish nasty prideful dogs. Wasn’t the whole point of fear-mongering killing suddenly for poor reasons?
He inclined his head to Iscariot at the last comment.

Wait? Xai is coming with us? Juice, who wasn’t far from Hestia (@Cluckcluck1215 even though I don’t know if yoy get tags) couldn’t help but make a face. Xai was the worst.
Xai turned his muzzle, meeting the Alpha's gaze. "Troublemaker," they repeated. Their attention redirected towards Hestia and her little party, barely a shadow of a grin crossing their muzzle before it faded. "Troublemaker indeed, Alpha." He tilted his head, meeting Spire's gaze again. "Have a lovely day, Spire." Head lifted with a sense of arrogance only he could hold, and stood, practically prancing over towards Hestia and Juice, standing directly behind the novitiate. "Hello, pup."

Juice jumped and yelped as Xai materialized behind her. Gosh, I hope he didn’t see my face. (Did they?)

(i'm too lazy to figure that out so we'll just say no)
Xavier studied the novitiate as she yelped, jumping off the ground in terror. With a roll of his eyes, he looked over at Hestia with a cock of his muzzle. "Well? Is the mighty lead hunter going to lead the way or shall I do it?"
A hint of a sneer crossed the muzzle of the she-dog. "Your arrogance is nauseating, Xaiver."
"Oh, what fancy words for a dog with such incompetence."
"At least I'm not hated by all the pack." They could see the regret in her eyes, the instant way her shoulders tensed and she directed herself towards the camp exit almost immediately.
"I'm not hated, love. I'm feared. And you best learn the difference." He moved past her, offering what looked like a genuine grin to her as he did.
"Alright." Hestia turned to the novitiates. "Tidepools. Let's go."

(Rushes you to a hospital. :D)
"There you go, that's it...just a few more sprigs and we should be good to go!" Eclipse smiled, then took a step back.

Mico waved his tail, enjoying the lack of near-death experiences thus far. We’re almost done, he thought with satisfaction. He lunged forward a bit and grabbed onto a sprig of dill. As he plucked the plant from the ground, he felt his paw sink into the dirt and turned around, cocking his head. That’s-
His eyes widened with horror as a yellow and black bug crawled out of the hole.
Hornets!!!
Smoke was trying his very best not to fall into a local bush and die in 574 dead languages.
Even still, clear liquid was being manufactured by his eyes and sent down his face, much like tears of desperate hilarity. But definitely not those, because dogs don't cry. Obviously.

Pigeon looked at the dog beside her who was definitely not crying tears of hilarity. She couldn’t help herself- a smile crept across her muzzle. She quickly schooled her expression, though, to avoid the glares of any nearby adults.

Riften trotted after the other novitiates. Today was going to be... interesting.

Cody, laying just outside the medicine den and just within earshot, muttered "Oh no, kid, you're hated." She busied herself with the mess of herbs at her feet in an effort to appear inconspicuous.
