In mid-September, my six chickens experienced a bobcat attack. One of them was taken, and another was injured but eventually passed away. Thankfully, four survived. However, since the attack, two of the remaining chickens have completely stopped laying eggs. Initially, they were laying sporadically, but over time, they stopped altogether.
I’ve tried various treatments to help them recover, but nothing seems to work. At one point, I discovered they were laying eggs in hidden spots, which was unusual behavior for them. They’ve also changed in other ways—like showing less appetite and generally acting differently than before.
These chickens are still young, and I’ve raised them since they were chicks. I’m determined to continue caring for them, but I’m unsure how to address their behavioral and physical changes. I’d love advice or suggestions to help them get back to normal.
